Escape Day Spa....the good life!

So today I had yet another fabulous facial at Escape Day Spa and Salon.  Located at the Highway 100 split in Belle Meade, this is a must stop when you are ready for some relaxation.  I've gone there for several years now and I have to say, it is one of the nicest spas around.  Now I know what you are thinking.... that's not really somewhere to go on a beer budget, however, they do offer a few facials for less than $100.  It seems like a lot of money to spend on your face, but isn't it worth it?  You only have one and I intend to keep it with as few wrinkles for as long as possible. Lilly is amazing and I know several friends who LOVE her facials as much as I do.  (I also heard Melissa is great as well!)  I also love this as a gift for Christmas.  Stop by and pick up a gift card for someone special... they will not be disappointed!

And the winner is....

Lolly Miller!  Congratulations Lolly... You win the Chewbeads from Plaid Rabbit.  Enjoy!

Plaid Rabbit and a fabulous giveaway!

Hi everyone.... I'm extending the giveaway until the end of the day!  Due to me getting the contest started late last week, and the fact that I'm having technical issues, you can still enter to win these fabulous Chewbeads.  Winner will be drawn at the end of the day!

So one of my favorite stores has to be the Plaid Rabbit in Greenhills.  I've been shopping there for years, however, two new owners took over in April and I think the store is better than ever!  Kendra and Macy have really turned this store into a must stop when shopping for little ones.  They are excited to offer some of the best brands in the market including, 3 Marthas,  Serena and Lily,  Kissy Kissy, Mud Pie, Boon Baby Products, beautiful baby furniture and so much more.  When I was in there today, they showed me some of the new must haves this season and I think you will agree, any little one would be lucky to have a gift from the Plaid Rabbit!

Look at our giveaway this week!
These are such a great idea, I had to buy one for myself!  A former J.Crew buyer created these when she realized her child kept chewing on her necklaces and she didn't want him putting those chemicals and tiny pieces in his mouth.  Hence the name.... Chew Beads  www.chewbeads.com  The beads are made with 100% silicone (similar to pacifiers & nipples) are stylish for moms to wear, and safe for babies to chew on.  You can find these at the Plaid Rabbit, and if you win this week's giveaway, they'll even let you pick out the color you want.  What a great deal!

Giveaway ends this Sunday!

Well that's not all I found there today.....

This book is adorable and is one of the hottest books since The Elf on the Shelf.  The story is about Santa coming to the house on Christmas Eve and how you have to sprinkle magic dust outside so he can find your house.  It even comes with it's own bag of "magic" dust.  What a great new tradition for only $26

The Nose Frida is a new nasal aspriator for babies and kids that was created by a doctor...probably a parent who hated using those little blue bulbs they give all of us in the hospital!

You have to stop by and see all the beautiful Christmas clothes.
