Outlet galore!

So yesterday I did a little outlet shopping and can really save some money!  I went to the Gap Outlet looking for some pants for my 5 year old, and saw that the entire store is 50% off.  That's right, the whole store!  The store I was in was really big also, so I found a lot of stuff.  The pants were great, I found winter hats for all three of my kids, shoes for the boys, mittens for my daughter and several tops as well.  The funny thing is, my kids totally take after me.  The boys actually get really excited when I bring them home new clothes.  What other four and five year old boys like getting clothes that don't have  characters on them????  I know, I don't know of any either.
You can really stock up when your kids rip holes in all the knees of their pants.  They also had a ton of adult stuff as well!

One of my favorite online outlet sites is  This site is one of those sites you have to sign up for, but wow, they have some great deals.  Through tonight, they are featuring Kate Spade items...she's one of my favorite designers!
I will be sending this link to my husband for Christmas gifts!  You have to see all the great things on this site.

Let me know your favorite outlets and any deals you know of!  Also don't forget to enter this week's giveaway.  See yesterday's post for details.

Plaid Rabbit and a fabulous giveaway!

So one of my favorite stores has to be the Plaid Rabbit in Greenhills.  I've been shopping there for years, however, two new owners took over in April and I think the store is better than ever!  Kendra and Macy have really turned this store into a must stop when shopping for little ones.  They are excited to offer some of the best brands in the market including, 3 Marthas,  Serena and Lily,  Kissy Kissy, Mud Pie, Boon Baby Products, beautiful baby furniture and so much more.  When I was in there today, they showed me some of the new must haves this season and I think you will agree, any little one would be lucky to have a gift from the Plaid Rabbit!

Look at our giveaway this week!
These are such a great idea, I had to buy one for myself!  A former J.Crew buyer created these when she realized her child kept chewing on her necklaces and she didn't want him putting those chemicals and tiny pieces in his mouth.  Hence the name.... Chew Beads  The beads are made with 100% silicone (similar to pacifiers & nipples) are stylish for moms to wear, and safe for babies to chew on.  You can find these at the Plaid Rabbit, and if you win this week's giveaway, they'll even let you pick out the color you want.  What a great deal!

Here's how you can enter to win..... (you can enter multiple times by doing each of the following)
1) Follow me on twitter....!/winetastegirl
2) Go to the right side of my blog and click follow on my google followers  (You have to follow publicly or I can't see you!)
3) Leave a comment after this post
4) Suggest me to your friends on your blog and send me the link
Giveaway ends this Sunday!

Well that's not all I found there today.....

This book is adorable and is one of the hottest books since The Elf on the Shelf.  The story is about Santa coming to the house on Christmas Eve and how you have to sprinkle magic dust outside so he can find your house.  It even comes with it's own bag of "magic" dust.  What a great new tradition for only $26

The Nose Frida is a new nasal aspriator for babies and kids that was created by a doctor...probably a parent who hated using those little blue bulbs they give all of us in the hospital!

You have to stop by and see all the beautiful Christmas clothes.

Nico and LaLa: Branding...It's Not Just for Companies.

After spending too much money yesterday on Cyber Monday, I started thinking.... what if next year I didn't have a job? So many industries, including mine.... (no, blogging is not my "real" job) are having lay offs these days.  Even if I don't know what I would want to do, should I get laid off, at least I can have a cute resume!   I came across this great blog post from one of my favorite companies, Nico and Lala. Check out their idea of branding yourself. I think this is brilliant, and in a job market full of talent, this just might set you, and possible me, apart.

Nico and LaLa: Branding...It's Not Just for Companies.: Well hello there!!! We are getting so excited about the holiday season upon us!!! This Holiday Card sale that we just had, and all these a...
